Massages in Foggia
Not just haircuts and beards. At Maurizio Barber Shop, at Via Benedetto Croce 8 in Foggia, you can also treat yourself to a moment of well-being with a massage.
The massages are performed by Michela, our beautician. On this page you will find what they are, how to choose and how to prepare.
What our massages are
They are well-being treatments. They help you take a break and dedicate time to yourself. They are not therapies and do not replace a medical visit.
If you have health problems, lasting pain or doubts, we recommend talking to your doctor first.
The massages you can choose
Among the services there are several options. Two of the most requested are these.
- Relax. A massage with a slow rhythm and soft movements. It is designed to help you switch off from the day.
- Decontracting. A firmer massage, with attention to the areas where many people feel tension, such as shoulders, neck and back.
On each service’s page you will find what it includes. If you want to know more, read our guide in the Journal: “Decontracting or relaxing massage: how to choose”.
How to choose
There is no right choice for everyone. Some questions can help.
- Today do I need to stop, or firmer work?
- What pressure do I prefer?
- Is it my first time?
- How much time do I have?
If you are undecided, you can start with a lighter treatment. During the massage you can always say if you want more or less pressure.
Talking with Michela
Before starting, Michela listens to you. You can tell her if it is your first time, if you have sensitive areas, if you have allergies to oils or skin products and what kind of pressure you prefer.
The more information you give her, the more suitable the treatment will be for you. If you don’t like something, you can say so straight away. Michela will change the way she works.
When to talk to your doctor first
Massage is not suitable for every situation. We recommend checking with your doctor first if:
- you have strong, sudden or persistent pain;
- you have had a recent injury;
- you are pregnant;
- you have an illness or ongoing therapy;
- your skin is irritated or has lesions.
Michela cannot give medical advice. She can tell you what is possible in the shop.
How to prepare
A few tips are enough.
- Arrive a few minutes early.
- Wear comfortable clothes.
- Avoid large meals just before.
- Silence your phone, if you can.
- After the massage, take a few minutes before getting up.
A moment for you, together with the rest
If you like, you can combine a massage with a haircut or a beard service. That way you can carve out time entirely your own in a single visit. When you book, check the available times for both services.
Where we are and how to book
The shop is at Via Benedetto Croce 8, in Foggia. Bookings are made on Treatwell: choose the massage, the day and the time you prefer.
If you have doubts about which massage to choose, you can ask for advice directly in the shop. Michela will be happy to help.

Do I need to have a problem to have a massage? No. A massage can simply be a moment of pause.
