A good haircut comes from a good conversation. At Maurizio Barber Shop, at Via Benedetto Croce 8 in Foggia, we have worked this way since 2006. First we listen, then we cut.

What the service includes

Every haircut starts with a consultation. The barber looks at your hair, the shape of your face and the way you usually style it. He asks what you like and what you want to avoid. Only then does he start working.

Some services also include a shampoo, before and after the cut. On each service’s page you will find details of what is included.

Our team is made up of four barbers: Maurizio, Gino, Claudio and Manuel. You can choose whoever you prefer when you book, or ask us to recommend someone.

Which haircut to choose

We have several haircut services, designed for different needs.

• Classic Haircut. A tidy, well-kept cut, suited to those looking for simplicity.
• Haircut + Shampoo + Beard. A service that combines haircut, shampoo and beard care in a single visit.
• Top Stylist Haircut. Work that is more studied in the details, for those who want a more personal proposal.
• Premium Haircut. A more complete service, for those who want to dedicate more time to themselves.

If you don’t know which to choose, start with the one that seems closest to what you are looking for. Then, in the shop, the barber can help you decide.

How to choose the right haircut for you

There is no perfect cut for everyone. But some questions help.

• What shape is your face? Some cuts suit certain shapes better than others.
• What type of hair do you have? Straight, wavy or curly hair behaves differently.
• How much time do you have every morning? Some cuts need more care.
• What do you do for a living and what style represents you?
• How often can you come back to the barber?

How to prepare for your visit

You don’t need much. A few tips are enough.

• Bring a photo of the cut you like, if you have one. It helps us understand each other.
• Also bring a photo of how you usually wear your hair.
• Think about what you don’t want: for example “not too short on top”.
• Arrive a few minutes early.
• If you have a beard and want it tidied, say so when booking or on arrival.

You don’t need to wash your hair beforehand. Come as you are.

Why the consultation matters

A word like “short” means different things to different people. For some it is three millimetres, for others much more. The consultation is there to avoid misunderstandings.

We spend a few minutes understanding what you have in mind. We tell you honestly what is realistic for your hair and what might not turn out as you expect. Then we decide together.

If during the cut something doesn’t convince you, you can say so at any moment. It is easier to correct straight away.

After the cut

At the end we show you the result and give you some advice to keep it at home. For example, how to comb your hair and roughly when to come back. These are general indications, which depend on the cut and your type of hair.
